Maybe add some even basic tactics/equipment tutorials.
like 'take the CRU THEN objective' or 'clear the area of uplinks before hacking' that kind of stuff.

Theres alot of things that new players should have explained to them without opening up a webpage and digging through the endless amount of whiny posts for something useful.

I think they need to make a battle academy an option for Skill Point players less than 3 million

Yeah, voluntary academy battles under a set SP limit would be a good idea too.
Everyone bitches about "blueberries" and there will still be bad players that's just how it goes, but I imagine if people have at least some basic tactics explained battles as a whole would be less painful and quite likely help player retention.
Someone I can't remember who, thought up a while back having specific BA classes taught by vets over x amount of SP which I think personally is a great idea, and now with loyalty points being added there's a good reward rather than just getting an ISK bonus.
