I have noticed that using the cloak is not as cheap a strategy now, because the range is tiny (CCP fixed this one for once)...so i tried using a slayer fit:
Scout ck.0
2 Complex precision enhancers
1 Enhanced shield extender
1 Complex shield extender
1 Complex range amplifier
1 Complex ferroscale armor plate
1 ARN-18 cloak field
(weapons of your choice, uplink)
Before you give me crap for armor tanking my caldari fitting, i had to since i swapped out shield tanking for precision. You can see shotgun scouts before the sneak up on you (range 70 metres), and have an escape tool
CCP i am using your cloak properly for once, but it is a bit hard!

still eazy mode scout that dies to my breach/ untanked shotgun scout. though your quite a nice and decent, non cheating challenge to go against.

All the range nerf did was make scouts use their eyes like every other suit in the game, only while cloaked that is. You still have wall hacks.
If any scouts feel truely "nerfed" then they are bad scouts to begin with. |

Were it not for the smiley that clearly denotes humor I would have been hard pressed not to verbally tear your imaginary clone throat out with words.
But yeah all the cloakers are swapping to speed and brickfits to out assault the assaults and doing it well.
My level 1 calscout is easy meat but interesting to run. I am entirely too aggressive to be a good scout player. I should stop trying to shotgun and switch to rifles

E-war in not worth now. I change e-war caldari scout (2xcomplex precision + 2 complex range) with less than 400 HP on scout with 616HP.
QRT30 - all Caldari lvl 5, core maxed
QRT300 - Amarr heavy/commando
