None of those things will be helped by giving them a boatload of SP
They need better matchmaking, not a kick start by paying for it.
Enlighten us then.
How do you create better match making on a game with an incredibly small active player base?
Do you put a few vets against eachother in a match and fill the test of the team with noobs?
No no, they only become cannonfodder
Well what abiut different tier ing for putting vets with vets against vets!
How do you match that? Kdr? Wp? Lifetime sp?
So you get teams of slayers against logis and vehicle guys?
Oh hell we forgot about those.
Hmmm...
Well what about custom game modes? Lulz, try again.
Welll I....I dont know.
We have an abundance of people that screamed for the game to balance on player skills and make skill points ancillary.
And funny how it does an about-face when that becomes reality.
A good noob will slay well, but throw his head against the wall for getting no where. A bad vet relies on skills augmented by sp.
Close the gap between them. More players = more shenanigans = more fun = more vets = more ccp development.
Give me ammo types or give me burst RRs! Death is irrelevant.

300k unique players in September, wouldn't call it a 'small' player base.
And honestly, two tiers, 10 million SP and below, and 11 million SP and above,
At 11 million SP you have enough SP for decent gear and have spent enough time in game to learn the majority.

Glad someone can make half of my TWOYEARS of sp in a month. The 750k SP is only how much you SP can receive with boosters. Unless you have only 3m SP nobody will catch up to you in only one month. With boosters and passive you can make 24 million in the one month. As my old math teachers would say: Please, show your work. 24 million? No way. Assuming Triple Omega Active and Passive. Passive for 30 says, Active cap 4 times.
750 + 750(1) + 750(2) + 750(3) = 3 million SP a week, 12 million 24 + 24(1) + 24(2) + 24(3) = 96,000 a day, 2.88 million for 30 days
So you are looking a 14.88 million. If you time out the cap in those 30 days to cap a fifth time, 17.88 million.
People that get to 24 million a week are those that thought that it was: 750k x (1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5) = 3.375 million a week
So it would be 750 x (1 +2 + 2 +2) = 5.25 million a week

Try 3000 concurrent online users.
Balance those 3k, half of which are mostly waiting on some skill, fitting or pc so take them out of the que.
Balance 1500 into two tiers.
Across all game modes.
Fill each game evenly, as best as possible.
You most likely can't.
Next formula please.

If you have over 20 Mil SP, SP becomes devalued. More SP just means more roles.
In all honesty, your two years of experience is something far more valuable than SP.
More SP means newbro's can close the SP gap quicker and stop getting stomped into oblivion and actually put up decent fights. I'm perfectly fine with the increased SP. All it means to me is that I can get into new roles quicker (Such as my 4th and 5th proto suits I want: My Minmatar Sentinel and Logi, so that I can have all Min Suits to proto).

Please read the thread I linked. I did, Rattati clearly states you can earn 6 million a week, for the next month. 4 weeks this month. 4 x 6 million = 24 million. Oh, I should've read that completely. Carry on.
And this, Atiim, is why your voice on these forums is appreciated. At least by me.

Mossellia, I agree SP devaluation is a concern but you know what? F**k it.
This game has been broken in so many ways since day 1. The original loot reimbursement to isk - this gave some totally unfair advantages in terms of isk. (to a smaller extent myself included)
PC farming for the longest time did the same. Some of us have had what? 3 maybe 4 respecs since open beta?
A long story cut short is this games balance and 'economy' have always been messed up. There have always been ridiculous unfair advantages and some have suffered for this, not least the new players. I had hoped the isk side of things would b meaningful like they are in EVE but they are not I am afraid.
Its time we stop taking this seriously and just enjoy the gameplay because I mean hell, yesterday alone I made more isk in half of a day than I did in the last 2 - 3 months of hard grinding with blueprint suits.
Why the heck do we bother? No guys, lets just enjoy this ship before it sinks. That is all that is left.

But aren't those with less skill but the same SP using the same crutch?

Yo Zat
If you could respond differently, maybe take some inspiration from responses like Ghost Kaisar's and CommanderBolt's, and some others, it might reduce the inflammation of threads like this. Too many of you CPM come across like trolls too often. It's not helpful, and you have a little power to set an example.
As for the thread topic - it's an SP / booster balls-up of varying degrees depending on your p.o.v., and it upsets ppl. They have a right to vent if they want to dontcha think? There's such a thing as talking someone down off the ledge you know.
You must learn honor, or you deserve to learn nothing at all.
