It depends on your rank. If your rank is higher then you can resell stuff at a little more expensive price, then if you hire the sexy Jara Kumora then it gives a 15% more to the value you can resell.

Rank my A$$! I'm Rank 9. The fact is when I go to sell a standard suit it gives me a resell value of about 1000 ISK. When I go to sell a proto suit it's the exact same price. That can't be right. |

CCP wants your $$$$$
Give them $10 for the TNA merchant and throw $$$ at them for AUR to boost your loyalty rank and you too can have a halfway decent payout from selling things.
Because only CCP would take the most widely requested BASIC feature and turn it into a cash grab
