So I had some spare Aurum and bought a respec. But I wanted to see how much it was worth to the loyalty.

Well, I went from need 1,694 to reach rank 9 to needing 112,694 for rank 10. That obviously doesn't explain anything. Having still some left over, I bought Player Market helper. Results for those 18,000 Aurum spent:

 112,694 to 103,964

 5,730 gained for 18,000 Aurum. 18,000 / 5,730 is ~3.1414 Aurum per Loyalty Point.

So the Aurum to Loyalty Point ratio is essentially pi?

 huh?

 112694-103964 = 8730

 18000/8730 = 2.06

huh? 112694-103964 = 8730 18000/8730 = 2.06 Well, it has been a long time since I have done such a colossal f*** up. I am proud of myself.

I can't even say I was drunk, high, or tired. The only thing I can say is that I am 1) Usually not that dumb, 2) Was typing faster than I could think, and 3) Drank two venti Pumpkin Spices Lates in about 3 minutes.

I am not even going to edit the original post. I am going to wear that massive pile of stupid with a badge of honor. I am actually almost proud of how unbelievably goddamn dumb that was.
