So I tried out he lazier rifle... Although I'm not as affectionate as minni me, I do like it very much.
Been running minja with NK and having trouble on open maps so I was going through some old inventory and making random fits to try (running this in spambush to make isk) and threw a LR on a militia suite and was quite impressed!
Current spambush fit:
Minscout
Two complex light damage mods
Basic reactive plate
Complex kincat
Compact hive
Works good for flanking and the min's speed with kincat lets me out run and flank reds 
Your thoughts???

Yes, I know. But I'm only using this as a side/mini role to use on open maps that I want to take it easy on and annoy the crap out of people. I usually don't even get kills cause I'm not skilled into lazar rifle or, as you said, using amarr assault.
But it's fun to have an easy role, it's more productive than me throwing a Sniper rifle on and watching everyone:)
Was amazed however at how much damage it puts out at optimal range and preheated!!
