Should CCP listen to the community more because the will of the people is best or should they avoid it as much as possible because the masses are ignorant and don't truly know what they want?

God no. That is what the CPM is for, however, our current CPM seem to be extremely biased. That's right, while Judge was away you saw what they did to our glorious vehicles.

Did you mean people are content with the game being a lobby shooter or that everyone has contempt for the game becoming as such? Words that sound very similar but mean very different things.
That is really a loaded question though. "Are you going to vote for warmongers or utter pacifists?" type of thing. The truth is more in the middle.

Personally I think CCP should put surveys in at the beginning of logins in game to gauge the feelings of players better than they can on the forum. What they do with that will depend on what topic they decided to raise the survey on. Some topics simply require more input from the player base than others.
