What happend to the OP is you got into the groove going against Saxon.
Had you just waited a few minutes before queuing back into the dom, I'll bet you'd have been matched up against someone else.
I never play intentionally bad. Sometimes unintentionally, though. lol |

Take last night as example. I went up against saxonmish and his squad three Domination games in a row. After getting beaten down by a buttload of tanks and ADS during the third game, I switched to Ambush and YOLOd my way to the end half of the leaderboards in a MLT Minmatar Starter fit.
After losing several games, I then went back to my beloved Domination and all seemed right. There were no more stomps and I had some decent fights. Now, I'm unsure if purposely doing bad really affects my Mu rating, but from what I had experienced so far, it does seem to help a bit.
With that said, I was wondering if any of you do the same: especially you fellow lonewolves.
Can't be. I play poorly on purpose no matter the reason and still get one sided stomps.

I do... when I see a third guy standing next to 2 snipers when the enemy has the upper hand, yet we still clearly can win the match I will just harass the **** out of them.
Sometimes I wish we have an open VOIP so I can shout at them like a Commissar
Yes, I'm that desperate...

Deliberately playing badly would require giving a rat's ass to begin with.
So no, I can't say I do it deliberately.
EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

Oh yeah I remember bumping up against you last night, strangely enough we had just come off 2 back to back games where we had mass suiciders on our team and we lost. After that the same suiciders were on the opposite side for 3 games. Didnt you notice the conspicuous asshats flying 4 man dropships into anything they possible could? Wasnt really your fault...

I only try to do bad when my team is stomping, then I will try stupid fits and tactics just for fun and because I feel like a scum to be dancing on the redline shooting fish in a barrel.
Because, that's why.

Yeah, that Manus Peak match was really weird. I was expecting the DS guys to go out and actually do something, but they somehow kept dying every 2 minutes or so.
I'm surprised I still came in second on my team whilst on my AV fit. I was actually trying really hard to take down Jehuty and Saxon's Madrugars. I came pretty darn close to taking out Saxon at one point, but he jumped out of his tank and shot me dead. Lol. |
