Never know what's good about something until ya lose it, been on destiny/destiny PvP recently and I've two things to say:
1:I'm sick of it.
2:There are things dust does better than destiny:
Radar: I never realized how much I loved the radar on dust untill I played destiny, if you haven't played it's a proximity radar rather than a locational one like dust.
One shots:Never again will I complain about being oneshoted in dust, atleast if I die in dust it's because I screwed up.
Bunny hoppin: Strait up in the air if you're about to be killed, like the person I'm about to kill has afterburners stuck up thier rears.
Lag: destiny lags far worst than dust when it's ready.......
Annoying community: I suppose activision is at fault for that, half the players are most likely from COD, the overwealming amount of stupid is visable, at least here most don't bug you for no reason.
The grind: Oh man the grinding, not to mention the way loot drops, I'll stick to buying my gear thanks.
DLC: Man they are making cash off of suckers, and Matar help you if you're in the UK, dust doesn't force you to get DLC to get gear you need. (DLC was also on disk, you're just paying to unlock it.)
Diffrence in playstyles: Dust allows you to swap and change the way you play on the fly, destiny gives you six classes that only make a slight diffrence every two mins or so, and you'll likely onely see a handfull of overpowerd weapons in any given PvP match; along with that rare 'I do this for fun' guy.
Is destiny a bad game,no, mind you I'm just pointing out what dust does better.
Pardons for the spelling, just mussing on my time in dust and how it was better than I thought, also rushing this cause I need to go......right now actualy.
There's good in this game, I think I'll come for a look tomarrow when I'm off with a few ex-mercs.

Yup, the only reason I keep playing destiny is for the PvE... Gotta love them head shots.
sci-fi has numbed The word plasma. It's 1-3 billion*F superheated ionized gas that behaves like a floating liquid.

Past that I think DUST PvP stands head and shoulders above...
Or it will if the control schemes were fixed so it doesn't feel like we're trying to slog in hip-deep mud while moving and aiming.
For now DUST just stands above for PvP
EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

It's fun if you like an arcade shooter, but not so fun if you like "tactical" (whatever that means) shooters like Dust. It's kind of like going from Forza to Mario Cart. You race in both, but they're meant to meet different expectations.
Put your flags up in the sky.
And wave them side to side.
Show the world where you're from.
Show the world we are one.

In the UK everything to do with electronics is overpriced. Gotten used to it now I hear it's even worse in New Zealand or Austraila but I can't confirm that. |
