I'm really hoping the Market Agent will cost less than a Respec. 10k Aurum for the Agent, 20k for a Respec? 20k for the Agent, 40k for a Respec? I haven't spent any money on this game since my Merc Pack back in Open Beta. Market Agent has me quite interested in dusting off the wallet.

If their smart both will be cheap but buying the agent makes everything cheap so something like 20000 aur each if you bought a agent and 40000 for respec if not so respec only cost ten but agent cost ten or respec costs twenty without a agent so everyone isppractically forced to buy a agent, this is what i see happening.
So the agent makes all respects cheaper.
DONT EVER COMPLAIN, USE CAPS LOCK OR POINT OUT WHAT BROKEN WITH OUR GAME OR WE WILL DEFINITELY BAN YOUR ASS FOR 6 MONTHS

According to the vague description, the agent will only effect ISK buying prices. ISK selling and AUR aren't mentioned. I'd assume no for AUR based things because it would cut into CCPs bottom dollar.
The problem arises if the merchant is permanent,10% off on 50 things isn't bad. 10% off on 50,000 things is.
It would effectively increase AUR users ISK amouts by millions with cheaper prices. Thus making Dust p2W.
Unless,as the F2P model implies... There are ISK versions for those that don't wish to use AUR,incredibly expensive ISK versions, but ISK versions nonetheless.
Otherwise Dust is moving more and more to the P2W model.
This won't negatively effect a shared market in Dust (because there isn't one). But in 'legion' where markets are connected the agent will have long term ramifications, like price inflation because so much ISK is available to AUR users that isn't available to ISK users.
You want to see a top 1% in a game like in real life make only AUR versions of stuff.

from the devblog wrote:SELL TO VENDOR AND MARKET AGENT
The base vendor price will be 20% of the market price. Loyalty Ranks will, however, give bonuses to the vendor price up to another 15%, to a total of 35%. The Market Agent, which is a new feature under Services in the Marketplace, will grant another 15% if bought for AUR, allowing a maximum Vendor Price of 50% of market price. |

Market Agent will cost more. The reason is simple: Respec is something that is expendable while Market Agent is not. It is the same reasoning behind Boosters costing less than a BPO.

With a cat from EA at the helm, P2W is a (sadly) high priority I'm sure. I hope it isn't, but their track record speaks for itself.
