Officer weapons from LP stores for 3-8k LP each??
I think it'd be fine, considering that it would remove vets from pubs, and give us a way to get officer weapons, as well as make the LP store much more inviting for everyone.

I'd rather they just make Officer Drops more common.
I never, ever, want to see officer weapons for sale, not for ISK, not for LP, not for AUR.
Make them rare, and make the user cry when it is lost.

They aren't that good though, compared to just proto

I'll take a squad running full auto shotguns, and HMGs and laser weapons that can't overheat versus a squad of regular proto every time.

Precisely. I don't think there should ever be an option to buy them (unless it's from other players).
BUT if there was such an option it should be insanely high like 50-100mil a piece (remember PC farming corps have billions upon billions of ISK so.....).

i have proficiency 5 on my AR...the duvolle=Krin's Sin-11....almost a Balac's but all i need to do is throw a damage modifier on my suit
They aren't that OP really, i am waiting for the officer combat rifle to show up

Yes, because your skills and dmg mods don't apply to Officer weapons.

Unless you honestly believe giving vets access to purchasable officer weapons actually will give them a reason to not stomp pubs.
