The cap is being increased by nearly four fold. 750,000 SP a week, The Formula for SP gained each match is being changed so WP are worth 2 SP each. The formula will be SP = (seconds in match x 5) + (War Points x 2). This means that it will take a lot longer to cap. Even if you pulled 5,000 WP every match and every match was 10 minutes long, you are looking at going from 8,000 SP a match (needing 24 matches to cap, 4 hours) to 13,000 SP a match (needing 58 matches, 9 hours 40 minutes). See here for different numbers.
So, how much more time will it take you to cap out every week and how much time are you willing to spend capping each week?

considering a barely reach the cap as is because of work and school. i doubt after the update i will be able to cap even on a good week.

I do not cap out. I collect passive SP.
This does however mean for me, that I will never run out of bonus SP.

people capped the 190k sp in 2-4 days easly on this old SP system, so ill guess 3 to 5 days for the new system/cap

Depends, If I really am in the mood for dust I can go for hours, some days I don't even look at it. I usually don't cap unless I play the game for 2-3 days out of the week, so I probably won't cap unless I'm in the dust zone for a week straight, and its really hard to be that into dust. |

Similar here, i have just few games in week and i playing other games otherwise whats mean for me hitin' level cap just few time accidentaly boyo
And honestly, im not one of that boyos who need to be ultrasuper dupper troopah, im completely fine with my support role like "one of that boyos" who are not great but even not that bad players

Depends on what there is.
If Amarr and Minmatar HAV were announced I would be all over the Omega's for two weeks to nab a sweet 6M SP boost......
But I don't think that will matter post 1.9 as I should theoretically have roughly 10M SP in reserve once I break down my wasted skills.

my quickest cap out at current system has been 17hrs with a few breaks in between. i do think that ccp might want to perhaps make the WP 3x as much as currently is. as much as we all love to hate this game we do have lives out of game.

Considering we will be receiving double SP from WP, I do not think it will affect me too much. I may cap slightly less often but who knows. |

I cap 180,000 in the first 2 days
The only problem here is using a 3-day omega booster....i will need to earn 1.5 million SP in 3 days (max playing time 18 hours)
if i do the match with 24,000 SP per match (omega booster)=63 matches going 1500WP's+ which makes 1.5 million SP
1 match goes for 17 minutes? (search time, ect.) 63 matches at 17 minutes is 17.7 hours!
Well....i CAN cap out :D
