Recently I have fought with Caldari FW and was rewarded Scouts with shotguns killing me... in the beginning spawn point far behind our redline... how?!? I could only kill one when they spawn killing us from behind the redline... I would like to say F*ck all scouts! (Sorry to those scouts I can respect) and ask how in the F*ck did they do this? Huh? Sorry, I got tired of putting up with the scouts

What spawn/map was it? It's completely possible to get pretty deep into the redline with a few kincats, so if the players were bored redlining your team, they could have easily been running in and out again.

Hmmm, don't know any map names other than Manus Peak, but the one where people spam uplinks on the rail that's normally above B in skirmish... Also that for the information... Have any tips of how to kill them? That was the only map I've encountered it on(I've had it happen 3 times)

Ashland. And yea... there's really not a whole lot you can do. That map is very easy to camp the redline as it's not very far back. Running into the spawn and killing people inside is quite simple with a few kincats. The only thing you can really do is perhaps grab a tank and just camp in your own spawn, play safe and try to push them back if it happens. Brick tanked heavies can help, but there's so much cover in that map that it wouldn't do you much good. If you actually wanted to try to still win, take a dropship out of the base and put uplinks down if you can, but if you just want to stick around in the game and not get wrecked completely, a tank is the best option. You can't RE tanks in the redline, and it's generally easy enough to back up if they start trying to AV you.

Also if you are redlined on that map you can back up behind the Oil Tanks take a wide route and come out over by D, drop an uplink or two on the way to get the Blues out of the slaughter. Most often it's the side closest to E that gets the redline on that one because of imbalance of the map. Hope that helps. BTW I'm a scout

What I don't like about Ashland is how easy it is for an LAV with a gunner to just drive around either redline and gun people down.

You were playing Caldari FW? I'm sorry. The redline must have gotten tired of hiding so many people behind it.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Yes, I had just switched from the Gallente as I felt that the Caldari needed help, perhaps you should try fighting on Caldari's side instead of on a heavy's backside :p (I'm just joking around) Caldari checklist Assault: Check Logibro: Check

Dat clack. It has to go. Either that or CCP needs to change the name to DUST ARENA and ditch the maps and vehicles. Replace it with small indoor settings that just loop around.

It was obviously long enough. Time to go, bro. The redline is like 10 miles long on most maps, with plenty of room to fall in a direction other than straight out forward from the spawn. Use the redline to escape the redline.

I would like to point out that I was killed several times before my screen came out of black, but I didn't manage to get away from the scouts once for a Sniper to take his turn at killing me.
