Since I've finally gotten around to dropping SP into the Amarr Assault i figured i'd give the laser rifle a go again
My favorite thing about it (and I'm guilty of it as well) is that people don't seem to be too concerned when they're being shot by it and just go about their business until 'oh ****' the heat build up means their health takes a nose dive |

i agree, even at standard level if you can keep the beam on them and the heat builds up it can even chew into heavies quickly

Laser rifle packs the most damage per magazine of any weapon in the game if I remember correctly.

Yea but we have all been there, shooting random red dots, start melting 13ear's shields and then 20 seconds later you have an angry Minmatar assault 10 meters away and closing with a combat rifle......

is it just me or did Rattati still not fixed the ADS issue with the Laser Rifle? i want to use it again without swiping the beam all over the place Q.Q |

I always..ALWAYS move out of the way of the laser as soon as it hits me, chromosome reflexes.

I also still have that almost irrational instinct to flee when I hear that beam scorching nearby. Some old habits die hard. I still have a little bit of that with flaylocks, too.
