I am at the top I have maxed all my skills, and have all the suits and weapons imaginable. When you rush to get here you will find out how much you missed had you taken your time. I am now at 54-55 million SP haven't played in months and currently sitting on 2 million with nothing to do with it. Almost all light weapons to 5. I have at least one proto suit for each roll, scout, heavy, assault, logi. Still have Commando to cap but I am not in a rush. If your a mid level player do not rush to make it to high SP levels you will be disappointed. Until new items are added what will you use the SP for once you reached this high? Do not say vehicles. I have an LAV BPO, cannot fly(I suck), and I rather blow up tanks than drive them.
So take your time and enjoy it for you will one day be like me and several others who have reached the SP top and have nothing to work for at the moment. You will get bored and then bitter vet syndrome will set in, you have been warned. So I guess no optimizations? Sidearms, suits and Weapons? I have 35 million almost only in Gallente Dropsuits and Rifles, and I don't even have them fully capped. Well, almost all Core skills are capped, ie those that give native bonuses, even the EWAR skills.
I understand where calvin is coming from. i'm at 65.5m and i have 9-10 proto suits, the weapons i want are at minimum prof 3 with rapid reload and ammo between 3-5 and the ones i really like are at prof 5 (CR, PR, SL) that includes sidearms too and my core skills are pretty mcuh all at lv5 bar hacking (4) shield recharge/regulators and cloaking. Currently i'm going about skilling into things i have BPOs for but i am beginning to run out of skills i want to train and more the stuff i'm now training just because i can and it might be usefull. not everyone will want to skill into vehicles or every weapon because they either don't like how they work or part of the RPG element of the game and they stick to a certain racial skillpath. the hardcore guys who still spend a considerable amoutn of money on boosters that are already at 70-80m sp arn't going to be very long before they are just piling passive sp up to just sit there unless we start to get new skills in for the new suits, weapons and vehicles ect but again, thats only if the players like the new stuff introduced
to be honest i was very suprised as to how high the new skill cap was, i would have expected it to have been 500k a week at most. if its to allow new players to catch up i would have perhaps gone with the idea of giving new players 2 or 3x passive and active sp for the first 30days with a weekly skillcap for the rest of us bumped up to 400k (just over double we have currentlly)
p.s fitting optimizations for PG really need fixing. i got level 3 on my CR and it didn't do jack s**t and it aint cheap
Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience
