Here instead of having the pilot manning the main turret make it like a bubble (so that way there is a possibility of getting shot out) that way a second man can man the main gun so the pilot doesn't make any pilot errors, if you think about it it will encourage cooperation within a squad, and if this seems a little over powered just simply half the damage to the main turret (obviously being a small turret), but like I said there will still be a possibility of getting shot out. Also don't make the turret 360 degree make it a 60 degree so it will make the pilot have to maneuver into position.
Please CCP look into this if you haven't already, it will be an awesome way to get 2 men work together in a combat situation.

To be quite honest that's how I've been imagining the bomber DS that was hinted at a while ago.
Slow as a blimp, two seats, pilot operates drop charges and the gunner operates a downward facing turret. God help you if you're standing below that thing without adequate cover, but it'll be helpless like a turtle on its back if you are above it. |

omg that is exactly what I have dreamed about a BDS (Bomber Dropship) make them worth 400,000 isk

How about not forcing us to fit a front turret? then there's no need to change anything, we can just have the side turret used without nerfing the lack of survivability. |
