Couldn't see anything in the patch notes...
Once purchased, will this only apply to my main or will it also cover the alts connected to my psn ID?
Thank you. |

Probably just works on the character that made the purchase. Similar to the way boosters work.
My advice to you, playa...

In the past, before "purchased" respecs, it was always per character requested. Could be different now, tho, that you're paying for a respec

I think all 99.999999% of the people here want to know is how much it will cost.
With repeated usage, will the cost go up? Will there be a waiting period between when you can respec a second time? I'm in favor of the latter quite a bit.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

I also want to know how much it costs but know this won't be made clear until after downtime on Tuesday.
If I had to guess I would say anywhere between 20-30k for a respec. I cant see them increasing the cost of this each time we pay for it, but losing isk through buying new skill books might put some people off doing it on a regular basis. |

I sort of expected these kinds of questions. Alb, I think the description in the Patch Notes is HINTING (not really saying, just hinting) that you won't be able to respec your ENTIRE character in one button-press. So it won't be carried over to your other alts either.
I think, (especially since they are attaching an Aurum fee to it), you will have to PICK a particular section of your character's Skills to respec, based on the Skillbook that those skills are attached to. Example: You want to respec what you invested in your Gallente Proto Scout Dropsuit---you'll have to BUY out of Scout Dropsuits and BUY out of Gallente Dropsuits, and BUY out of the Dropsuit Precision (possibly 3 separate purchases with Aurum) in order to get the full benefit of your respec-ing. Wherever there was a Skillbook you had to purchase to open up a categoriy of Skills,... that's the category you may be charged Aurum to respec out of.
Your Aurum may be needed to respec out of "packages" or "categories" of Skill,... not ONE general respec for your entire character.
HOPEFULLY, it will not be a cruel as I just described... (like having to buy your life back one lower leg, then upper leg, then foot, at a time ),... but it would be the profitable way allow players to make themselves happy, and allow Sony to smile big equally.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
