How about we give the assault dropsuit a 10% to WP from kills?
i.e, 60 WP for a kill & 72 WP for headshot.
Also give the scout -5% WP gained from kill & +5% WP gained from hacking.
This was scouts will be hacking & assaults will be chillin & killin  |

The problem is. the scout doing better assault than the assaults itself. The bonus WP will get the scouts out of the was & encourage more assaults to do the killing.... |

The trick is to move the decimal over one place (50 -> 5.0). To do 20%, you just double that (50 -> 5.0 * 2 = 10), similarly, 5% is half of 10% (50 -> 5 / 2 = 2.5).
Math lesson aside, it doesn't really effect the functionality of scouts and assaults. In PC for example, people don't really care about WP, so the change won't really buff assaults or nerf scouts.

Well,if scouts were limited to 1 weapon...
Or lost an equipment slot...

How do you distinguish assaults from scouts? The scouts already sprinted away. The ones that are still here, the dead ones? Those are the assaults. Poor bastards never saw it coming.

If you buff assaults more, then everything else will need another buff to compensate... Let the cycle end, just nerf the scout and save us the trouble. |

Oh, yeah! We should give incentives to people who play with a different suit, possibly a broken suit, that way we can pretend all is well! Don't worry about fixing whatever's driving people away from it, THAT would be just SILLY!
While we're at it, how about a +20% bonus to Sentinel kills and +50% bonus to Sentinel hacks. Those guys are slow and big, they need all the bonus WP they can get... |
