Does anyone else find this... weird?
I find it really weird.
Its like some white guys making an all-white corp that only speaks english and calling it the "ARYAN KILLERS CORP".
Its just unsettling to me. Largely because of the prevalence. Its everywhere. Corp names. Squad finder. User names.
Can someone explain to me the why behind all this?

They are proud of their heritage.
If they want to express it in their names, I don't find that "weird" any more than "What the French" was made up of people from France.
They are, after all, a minority, and the same rules for the english-speaking white majority don't apply. |

Yeah. Pretty much this too. In the grand scheme of things white people are an international minority. They make up only a tiny portion of the world population.
Its still weird to tie race to a gaming community, in this case corporations, regardless of whatever race that is.
Nationalities are fine. What the French, Dust Brazil SA, and others like that are cool. But race is weird.

I am going to hazard a guess that it simply makes it easier to find players that speak your own language, when its otherwise too easy to assume everyone knows english
the number of Spanish-speaking players I've encountered in local chat and in battle is making me want to try picking up the language... half of my family is fluent in Spanish, I have no excuse  |

Canadian here. No, Canada was never a Spanish/latin colony, you had two forts that lasted were abandoned 6 years after they were founded (1789-1795). The current population of Nuca is 25 and that was only after the natives moved back in - so much for being a 'colony'

Dust is a third world game now.
Entire matches full of lagging latinos using the lowest tactics around.
Servers can't handle it too make the playing field decent.
I just leave because it gets to the point that the frustration isn't worth it.
