Well seeing as someone mentioned if Proto gear was to be banned for a month how would players cope. well i decided to see if the playerbase would be interested in a little player run event running through November, hence NoPROvember 
anyone interested leave a comment, if enough interest i've created a channel called
NoPROvember Squads
for people to jump into, rules are simple.
MLT/STD gear only for the month of November
All members of a squad must be running MLT/STD gear (no 4 MLT/SQD members behind a proto heavy ect)
BPOs will be allowed seeing as they are MLT/STD too
lets go have some fun and save up that extra ISK and for the proto stomping guys come prove the rest of the playerbase wrong about your talents and perhaps meet some new friends along the way

yeah i know. thought it might be a bit of fun. i run my BPO suits 90% the time and you can still put up a good fight, and it'd make the victory all the more sweet if 15 MLT/STD guys beat a team of proto stompers.
but tbh to say there was a load of guys in that previous thread claiming they'd still stomp everyone, no one seems willing to prove it

I would be made if I couldn't use my proto calmando with out I couldn't be the number 1 calmando ranger with out it .

I've been running mostly advanced cal scouts with dual scrambler pistols in pubs since the sidearm event.
I like the suit so much, I'm still playing with it. |

There's no such thing as STD/ADV suits.
My mind has a hazy memory of them, but it's just a myth.

I like my 550 melee damage Minmatar assault, thank you very much, and I shall not be dissuaded from punching heavies to death by this community's hatred of proto gear. I may occasionally slap them to death with fabulousness, but I'm perfectly content with the high melee damage offered by four high slots.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

I will do it for a week....i need the ISK for skill books when i respec. My standard fit:
Scout C1
2 Submachine guns
1 Remote Explosive
1 Cloak Field
1 Basic Armor Plate
3 Basic Shield Extenders
