I think they are scrub. Very cheap move, and unlike nova knives, back-peddling does nothing when you are faced/back-faced with a shotgun scout. You?

I get kills with my nova knifes I am a bloody murder with a shotgun. I used the shotgun when I first started playing and ruined people with it. I am a much better player now and avg about 800 points with IonP/KN (no cloak) but still get less kills just shows how skill less shotgun is... I didn't even speed tank it.

I've been killed more by cloaked shotgunners than anything recently. It is infuriating...

I used it on my Commando a while before I discovered the Laser Rifle. Ran RR with shotty in 1.7, honestly an OP fit. Killed everything in sight with the RR and if scouts or heavies got too close just simply go bam!

I used to enjoy the shotgun back in Chrome, these days... not so much. They did something to it, man. I don't know what, but they made it not fun! *Puts on tinfoil hat* CCP hates everything that's not an assault rifle! It's the end I tell you, the end!
Really though, the cloaked shotgun Gallente scouts get annoying, but after trying the thing out myself, I realized shotguns are actually pretty tough to run around with, what with the short range and crappy hit detection. The cluelessness of blueberries is what gives it most of its' killing potential. Still get annoyed when I get shotgunned in the back, but eh, most of the frustrations are towards the cloak at this point, not the shotgun.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

At least it beats everything in CQC, even nova knives
