First off, LOVING 1.9. But,
Is the Collectors Edition going to taken into account when 1.9 comes around? It cost a lot and it would be nice.

While I don't own the collector's set (it's on sale by the way), I'd say go for it CCP. Good integrated marketing opportunity.
The question is, how much weight should it have on your rank? Would it be equivalent to a normal AUR purchase, or slight more?

@hold that I hear they are working to integrate it with the forums and maybe on your in-game info page.

Maybe it would have a bonus separate from the AUR purchases even? An extra 5% ISK buy back lol (joke, something better).

the dealbreaker on that set is the rifter. they should have offered ships that were cool.
like megathrons or brutixs, or the remodeled apocalypse/maller.

The Rifter WAS the coolest ship until the Garmur came about.

But the Rifters such an iconic ship, and the wires out of the exhaust work really well!

Personally, I don't see why the EVE Collectorr's Edition should have an impact on your DUST loyalty rank, especially when there is practically no link between the two games. Should buying AUR on DUST give you some benefit on EVE? I think not. Maybe it's just me.

yeah even though its th eEVE collectors edition its really for al 3 games (EVE, DUST514 and Valkyrie) and also why it gave us the Templar gear. personally i think there should be some recognition but make sure to that those who pre-ordered get an extra mark as well. most people with Templar codes bought them for isk. those of us who are truly loyal and have the pre-order goodies and/or mystery code should also get somehting more too. one of which should be out bloody 'Templar' Scout A-I!!
Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience

Yes, I know. I was one of the first to organise the sale of the Templar gear to DUST mercs (and not for extortionate prices, lol). Evidence on EVE forums.

He sold me my set for only 90 million ISK, which I was so pleased with, that I bought a 2nd, which I later sold for 200 million ISK lol
And no, you CANT have my ISK!!!
