Sounds like a real blast.
I've been in those titanic clashes against enemy Tank groups before. Can't say I've come out of them unscathed but have been in some very satisfying battles back when spider tanking, percentage based tanking, and tank variability was present.

Ouch.
I've had a slightly similar experience.
The best match I ever had in my XT-201 Gunnlogi; I joined about half-way through the match. I must have blown up around 7 or so tanks of various builds, at least 5 dropships, and a few LAVs. Didn't lose my tank all match. My team was also being stomped hard against a Q-synced corp. My team ended up losing, but I still pulled the top of the leaderboard with over 4k WP. beating out even the top scorer on the enemy team.
My payout?
Some disgustingly paltry amount of Caldari Loyalty Points.
Ugh.

I had one of the best games in a week last night, similar to your experience, but i was mowing infantry using a duvolle tactical assault rifle and ishokune nova knives...25 kills 13 assists with 2 deaths at 3386 WP's
