Which eventually leads to the bath water becoming room temperature. This is true. Ask anyone that has been around for the Amarr fight. Over 50% ownership leads to about 70% defense contracts. Really makes me mad because the Amarr should own it all by now but stupid blueberries loose our districts when we are not looking. Moral of the story, DO NOT run FW with less than 6. In reality you should not run with less than 12.
IDK when it changed, but used to be completely the other way: A modest advantage would turn into an unstoppable steamroller until one side or the other would invariably own 100%. I've seen the entire map turn over completely twice (at least) since the "new" FW came into place last year. At the end of the Junip Crusade we had held 100% of the districts for over a week, and then lost it all when the FW kickoff event ended and the usual crew of incompetent blueberries and only a few scattered cells of loyalists were left to defend things.
The average talent level wasn't much better than Caldari is now, and it took a massive effort to swing things back. We used to win a district and then quite literally have to defend it 2-3 times in succession until we were able to attack another.
The method of having the EvE folks set contracts in specific systems for us to fight over would obviously be ideal but the way it was before was untenable.

We held out after Junip for at least 3 weeks before the marker passed back down through to the 50% threshold....mainly because after that week long session of round the clock deployments the core players just needed a freakin' break.....
I know I was certainly freaking tired.

Perhaps after the next few tweaks to LP store and uprising 1.9, CCP can assess FW participation and tweak the FW district mechanics accordingly.

But still a very enjoyable match Love to get some video makers in some fw sync battles, 1 "war reporter" each side
(need to figure out linking OB killmails to here)
When did this happen?

I will ping Kirk about it, sorry to have missed it. Sounds like it could have been fun.
Am hoping to get such things happening in future.

It was really enjoyable (aside from the lag). Very down to the wire.

So true. There is often no rest for the righteous as well as the wicked. But oh, it was worth every moment, to make the launch of FW 2.0 belong to the Empire.

I do not have to agree with the alliance to abide by it. I will not think twice about putting a bullet between somebody's eyes it if they stand before the State. My personal feelings really don't matter. They will be put aside when the time comes.
I am Caldari, but that does not mean I support our alliance with the Amarr..

For some reason our dumbass bluedots decided to pull back for no reason even though we were three capping them and only had a few ticks left. Blues just camped on a hill at Charlie and gave up.
It was still a good match but my friendlies just pissed me off. I'm not sure if I had a second squad though if this is the same match.
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

The Amarr were there when the Caldari needed them. Whatever qualms we have about them or their methods, true Caldari will be there for them in their time of need. It is our way.
Proof that Rattati/CCP do listen to the playerbase.
