So we all know that if you throw a remote explosive into the null cannon (around the panel), the remote slides underground. This remote can only be destroyed by flux or other glitched remotes. There is a slight problem. Commandos don't have a grenade slot, so how would they destroy said remotes? They can't. That's the problem. Now, I'm not saying that the little cubby hole for those remotes should be removed (why should they? You should always flux before you hack), there just has to be a way commandos can get rid of them, because right now, they're the majority of my null cannon remote kills.

This needs to be fixed. I've fluxed points before moving to hack, only to get blown up moments later.

What I dislike is how they don't do damage when placed on the ceiling or in corners.
I have watched them explode while someone hacks the console, and no damage is done.
I have actually not experienced the glitch you mention.
Only the one where I watch the RE float to the top of the conical null cannons.

-Yeee You can use RE to destroy them, but I think that more efficient solution for you if you really want to hack something with Commando, would be Active Scanner - scan terminal in order to detect RE, if there is not RE hack it, if you will detect RE you can use Mass Driver to destroy it.
..and yes I would love to see this being fix already.

There should be mechanic that allow players to hide explosives somewhere on null cannon - like under some hatch, so if the attentive player would see that hatch is enclosed he should have option to disarm explosive 'peacefully'.
People already love it, so this bug should became balanced mechanic some day..

I have placed some further to the side on some objectives that were, eyeballing it anyways, further than placing it on the ceiling above the console in buildings.

If placing RE on terminal moves RE model with icon below NC, maybe there are other 'magical spots' on NC as well, and you just found one? The whole NC model is broke - it has invisible walls, sometimes when you stick to center part of NC you can survive OB... so what are we trying to talk about here..

I thought those tactics were no good since they would slide too low and keep you out of their radii.
Anywho, Commandos have equipment slots. They can chug REs there and blow them up, like you said. Other than that, no dice.

I suppose you could drop your own remote down there get rid of it that way, but most commandos I've seen use nanohives for their equipment

The whole NC model is broke - it has invisible walls, sometimes when you stick to center part of NC you can survive OB... so what are we trying to talk about here.. I think he means that there would be a designated spot for the remote explosive to go on the null cannon, and before you hack the objective, there would be some sort of way to 'defuse' the explosive so it can't be detonated

Omgggggg, nonono, you misunderstood. If you throw a remote EXPLOSIVE onto the null cannon, it will slide under ground, invincible to all but a flux or another under ground remote explosive. Which means, for once, there is something a commando cannot punch to destroy
