LIFE IS KILLING ME

...but it wasn't due to my lack of my skills (for once!)
Scenario: Deployed into a skirmish match and made the sprint to the underground supply depot. Hacked it and went about placing uplinks and nanohives before swapping to my burst HMG suit. Killed a few opponents and then noticed that a few teammates were taking up position to defend the closest node (A, in this battle.) Threw on another nanohive suit and placed the armor rep hives near the node for the heavies and ran back to swap into my medic suit. Proceeded to kill another one two enemies and then the game went to hell; saw the injector notification pop up and sprinted over to the body. Repeatedly pressed the button to revive him, but nothing happened. Another medic then strolls over and brings him back. OK. I run around some more and fire at the enemy. My aim must be terrible as I'm not doing any damage. Notice that I'm racking up some triage WP from the hives, so I decide to head back to the depot to throw down some fresh ones. Can't bring up the depot menu. I watch as a teammate walks up and changes his fitting before carrying on his way. I'm still getting WP from the hives and uplinks. I decide to go back and rep anybody that's hurt; a nearby heavy is low on health so I target him and...nothing. Locked-on but nothing is happening. A nearby medic reps him instead. Fire off some more shots at the enemy before reloading; I'm now down to about half ammo. Run back to the supply depot; still nothing. The game has been carrying on for about five minutes and I'm running around (faster than usual, it seems) but nothing I do is having any sort of affect. Finally, I simply leave the match.
Was all of that simply a matter of lag on my part?

Seems like it.
Leaving the match and relogging helps.
Or if still lagging restart PS3 and try again.

Nope you experienced 'that bug'. I'm not sure what caused it for you but I have had this happen a few times randomly from being revived.
Can happen a few ways that I have been told about / saw myself but usually this is when you are revived in a precarious position. Your revived body is actually stuck in one place yet you can move around and it is as if everything is normal, except you move at an increased pace.
I had this happen last week, on Manus peak by the rocks in the middle of the map down the slope. My body was stuck in some rocks, a blue was repairing me as my still real body was taking fire. Yet from my perspective I could run around and see everything.
I will say though that I could repair people and recieve WP. You could see the repair beam stretching for 'miles' it was quite amusing. I'm sure if people figured out how to accurately reproduce this bug it could easily gain massive advantages in terms of scouting and being able to repair people around the map with absolutely 0 risk to ones ~real~ body, as long as the stuck body was out of sight.

Either a revive call pops up over nothing, or my injector won't stab the merc even though I'm mashing R1.
Give the Magsex some love.

This is due to being stuck in a wall, you are able to move around in a spiritual sense but your body is actually stuck in a structure.
Common symptoms include teleportation, no damage applied, equipment unable to be used, increased speed

Also, rumor has it you can run well into the red line and explore interesting parts of the map while in this state.

Any time this happens you can commit suicide or you can become the greatest scout ever for your squad.
Its pretty funny to stand with all the enemies as the rest of you squad rushes in knowing exactly how much equipment, how many mercs, and what all those mercs are wearing.
