I'm saving up a million skill points, as I plan to skill into the Amarr Basic Heavy frame at the proto level.
I'm doing this because I want to take advantage of the 2/3 slot layout on the Basic level amarr frame at ak.0. I'm afraid that with the upcoming hotfixes the DEV team will adjust this to match the sentinel in which case I'll lose my 900,000 plus skillpoint invested.

 I was hoping that the Basic Caldari Heavy Frame would do something similar in the upcoming hotfixes to add variety to people that want to stay in one race type. In which case I'll drop down another million skillpoint and skill into the Caldari Basic Heavy Frame.

Basic Caldari Heavy Frame
- C-1 : 2 High - 1 Low
- C/1 : 2 High - 2 Low
- Ck.0 : 3 High - 2 Low
Sentinel Caldari Heavy Frame
- C-1 : 3 High - 0 Low
- C/1 : 3 High - 1 Low
- Ck.0 4 High - 1 Low
 I know you like everything tied into a nice little spreadsheet box so don't be upset I didn't put this into Google Docs. Variety changes like this will help people like me who play characters only focused on race types. Sometimes it's better to give up the bonus for fitting flexibility.
Can you please take this into consideration.

Gallente sentinel has the slot layout you are looking for.
There hasn't been any changes to heavy slot layouts on the basic frames since beta ended. You're in no danger of losing anything except survivability from having no resistances to anything.
Gold heavies pretty much is the signal to bust out the mass driver on you. It's a pain in the ass.
EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

Basic frames are inferior to the specialised roles. The basic heavy frames have less HP, and in the case of the amarr - less PG but more CPU however the basic frame also does not have a fitting bonus to heavy weapons or resistance bonus. It's a waste of SP ultimately. |
