no, not for at least a good few years, and if it came out, you wouldn't be able to play with the PC players. The PS4 has already proven itself to be outdated. Did you hear about The Evil Within? Brand new game, on an almost brand new console and it runs at 720p 30 FPS. PC players would have such an advantage because better hardware. |

For the record the ps4 can do 1080 60, its just a matter of optimization a thing that alot of company's are not willing to do because for some reason or another they believe it will cost them more then its worth (ie in some bs pr or monetary) yes the ps4 is not the most powerful system out there but it is still a competent tool that can do good things depending on how its used.

PS4 can run BF4 on max settings at 60FPS @ 900p (not that far from 1080p).
It's not THAT outdated.

That's just par the course for consoles. Once the system is out longer and developers have more experience with it they'll know how to optimize their games better.

What is the VERY-rough, subject-to-change-without-notice, caveat-filled, etc. timeline of where you see DUST going as well as Legion?
An example response:
"Assuming Project Legion is greenlit, [insert a bunch of other caveats]. We expect to launch a beta of Legion in Fall of 2015, which could change. During this time we will attempt to put out client patches roughly every 5 months, with several hotfixes between each patch, again subject to change. Our goal is to finish the racial parity of vehicles, and turrets as well as with the heavy weapons for the launch of Project Legion's beta. As these are completed, we will be downscaling them for the PS3 and bringing them into DUST to help balance them. We are targeting 10.10 for the release of the Amarr and Minmatar vehicles which should arrive around Q1 2015. Look for the Gallente and Amarr Heavy weapons in Q3 2015. Do not hold us to those dates, as they can and likely will slip. This is posted as a general reference for where we want to be, not a hard timeline etc."
Something like that would be really helpful to put the development roadmap into perspective.

Most PC gamers are perfectly fine with 1080p @ 60FPS, and that's usually what they target their PC to be capable of.

So Destiny looks really good on the PS3... You have 300,000 active monthly when Destiny has 3,000,000 monthly. What would it take to put Dust on Xbox and PlayStation?
Over 50 Million SP and almost full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/4

Just to be clear, I have no dog in this fight. I will find a way to try what ccp offers.
But from a tactical standpoint that's a very "blueberry" approach to this business situation.
Why would you take your retread (but oh so much better) FPs/mmo right into the market/platform of direct competitors that you know are 10x bigger?
