Hey all you dust players Ive been wanting to try a new suit and was wondering how good caldari assault is and if its worth getting so if someone could help me id love it please. |

It's pretty beast mode if you have all your shield stats maxed. Reload bonus is pretty cool too, despite what people say.
What happened to the repair tool glow?
Why won't CCP answer?

I love it. I have maxed shield skills which helps a lot, and can grt over 700 Shield. Teaming it with the RR and BP eith the Reload Bonus makes you extremely dangeroud at range. Its not the best CQC suit, but other weapon combos work well with Energizers/Rechargers/Regulators

Sounds good I see kaziku sniper go god mode with it and i didnt get to spec my character my old roommate did while i was away so now im working on finally specing a suit of my choice and was wondering thanks for the info guys

Good suit. Just don't get too close and use your shield and regen rates to your advantage.

Caldari pretty much has the most useless suit bonus you could find.
Stacked shielding and regulators will make you nearly invincible with it, though
Non support scouts, ADS, supertank drivers and snipers are the uncivilised animal version of gamers

Do not extrapolate what you see Kaziuka do to you (or anyone else). That guy would be ridiculously good in a sentinel with dual nova knives.

The reload bonus is simply not as useful as the other bonuses. Less Heat, more Ammo, and less Dispersion are all things that help you "in a fight." If faster reloading is useful enough "in a fight" then the others would have been far more useful. The Suit itself is not bad though. Shields are quite nice for solo players as they recharge quickly. If you are in a gang with a Logistics, an Armor tanked suit is probably better though.

Ok the problem im having is i never got to play with all the different weapons and stuff back when i made my character because my old roommate hacked my psn and took it well i was gone and spent my sp and stuff so now that i got it back and finally can play i just recently got gal to level 4 and when i went from level 2 to 4 i went from beast mode to crap mode to much accauracy is what i was told with the min i die to fast( he speced min assault so i got it proto) with amarr i die alot not to good with scramblers so that left me with cal but i like to rush in so i need amour with cal lacks so im like screwd in so many ways on what to do |

Don't pay attention to the haters.. that reload bonus is pimp! Use any rail weapon at max skill and you'll never want to give it up.
Dedicated Caldari toon here and I know the bonus inside and out.
Over 50 Million SP and almost full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/4

I used Cal assault since 1.5 and tbh it wasnt really good but right now its one of the best assault suit to use along with the Amarr assault.
You can stack up to 900 shield if youre skilled enough into shield plates.
the only problem is that its not really reliable to many weapons.
only RR,Snipers, BP and magsec SMG.
its really good to use with SRs though, other cal assaults or scouts get lit up by proto SRs.
i prefer cal scout. I got proto cal scout/assault and proto amarr scout and i like all of my suits

The creodeon breach assault rifle is pretty good with that suit atm too but it might get nerfed.

Want armor, go Amarr. Put whatever rifle you like on it, they're interchangeable. Gallente is the cousin to Amarr, just a little bit faster. |

ive been caldari since beginning doesnt cut it anymore most weapons used are anti caldari andshields to dont get repair tools to rep them at stupid fast speeds u you will probably have to armor tank your suit to match ehp of others and without catilizers that armor is making you painfully slow i myself am thinking about switching to gallente assualt or amarr as even if you do put 600 armor no one ever wants to rep caldari suits

You should ask for re-spec. I suggest you keep spamming the forums with your story until they give it to you

I love it, even though I know a cal scout is better.
The suit bonus isn't great but I do miss it when I use other suits
It's versatile and compliments RR and bolt pistol combos.
Just stay away from cqc if you can |
