How come the majority of "elite" sentinels have Logis stuck up their bums? Like some sort of dog leash. While I admire a logi who has that sort of commitcomt, wouldn't it require more skill to put up good numbers without the constant repairs? |

Aw, how cute.
You think some sort of mythical adherence to hardmode methods matters.
This is the kind of thing that makes me have to slam my head on something made of concrete multiple times so I can briefly understand why anyone should care about this arbitrary metric you use.
EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

People need to ditch the gimp is pump mentality, oh you had help so.....Oh you had a logi.... I would've gotten the kill if you hadn't run behind cover. We're not playing hot hands, the objective is not to stand and slap each other til someone passes out. The objective is to win, use resources and win.

Im logi and im proud logi.
I have DLs, i have Fix tools, i have NHs and i repairing everyone who needs it around me without any favoritism.
If you dont like it, your problem i supporting my team and end of storry

Sir I salute you for your service. Due to the amount of negative feedback I've immediately received (though from the goon is not surprising) it tells me that yes support needed and welcomed. My apologies for coming off as arrogant, I wanted an answer.
I too have proto logi capabilities and proto sentinel capabilities. I have experienced both sides. Thank you for your opinions. Further discussion is welcome. May I ask we keep mature. No need for butt hurtness. |

Unless success in a game makes one relevant in real life somehow... No, no they are not.

It's really quite simple.
Put a good heavy and logi together against any adversary, and they win the battle, particularly if they are playing defense. |

The issue is most of players see logi like some king of leeches (and there is small amount of player doing that like that, i know), but i can tell you i didnt saw them too much.
Mostly that just some tryhard newbies.
Purist logi (like me) dont making something like this, because purist logi feel his dedication on field and every time pushing and supports his team through his possibilities.
For example im never in that virtual "first line", i still looking around if there is flanks behind us or what matee boyo needs fix.
If the situation is bad and we need it, i start with tactician job aswell and trying to put some better vantage point for new spawns.
If you dont have ammo, yup i can see that because im still behind you boyo and there you are have some nanohives for you aswell.
Logi is basicaly really underrated now and honestlz i didnt see too much purist ones like me in game, but hell if you need the help, dont worry.
I'll just fix this boyos armor and leave him some shields and im with you in seconds.
This is all my philosophy and i think its overall the philosophy behind pure logi how it should be
"Nanohives, repairs or droplinks, just ask me on field i can tink anything RD"

No. Scrubs are allowed to win at this game. They are given full reign while the rest of us who like to keep some sense of context and flavor.
Please skill into cloaked shotgun scout, logi b*tch dragging hmg heavy, swarmer or forge gunning tank driver.
Best to double, hell even triple dip for the win.

And cheapas*es like you make the rest of us sick. This is why we can't have nice things. You can't just let people decide to run appropriate things. You have to restrict the game to have proper context for things.

Actually I am active in the campaign to evict sentinels from CQC.
I think it's hilarious when people wave the e-honor flag when pretty much all of you would kill the guy next to you in a battle for a klondike bar.

What does bother me are the heavies who feel entitled to having a logi leashed to their ass? I've been in squads where the heavy is constantly scream "WHERE IS MY LOGI!" as without one they seem to die like the rest of us. |

You obviously don't do PC. Our heavies very rarely have logi support and still go 30+/10-. Meanwhile the enemy team has a devoted minlogi who gets his arse handed to him while we wreck the heavies.
