Ok CCP, how much in Royalties are you getting from this movie? I have to admit this is a clever way to make a buck. XD

Way to go CCP. : P
CCP is not obligated by any laws to keep you informed. Also, you have to understand that video game companies often keep things a secret because... well... let's face it. We players are the true dicks around here. We jump to conclusions before we even have any definitive evidence and tend to overreact when we don't understand something. We come up with wild conspiracy theories about what CCP is really doing. Theories that often make the Brian Helgeland Film look rational. We constantly accuse the CPM of being in bed with CCP. We constantly bring up all of their mistakes of the past ($1000 jeans anyone?).
Yet some of us here have the arrogance to call CCP a bunch of dicks. Hilarious.

Ahem, I'm a **** to CCP as well. Anyone here who knows me well enough will tell you that I have no problem calling out on CCP's mistakes. Someone has to constantly remind CCP of their Rouge Wedding, or Monoclegate, or their failed Incarna expansion, or their $1000 jeans analogy, or Greed is Good letter, or failure of World of Darkness, or their Boot.ini, and mismanagement of their staff. I can go on.

Well CCP f*cked with a lot of things when it comes to dust so it is reasonible for it's playerbase to question how it is doing things the second time around. If i have problem with an apple product and whenever i call customer support they pick up the phone say "F*ck off" then hang up. You are not going to make a lot of people happy by doing this although you can, then you will just be developing the product for no one because you alienate your player base. Just because there is no law binding them to something does not mean they should be allowed to get away with whatever they want because we are the people paying for the game. I think the first person you quoted is a dumbass but none the less a lot of people have the right to be concerned with the way CCP is doing things.
True. We should be reasonably critical of CCP at times. But does that mean we should always resort to wild accusations and conspiracy theories like what I have seen the community (both in Dust and in Eve Online) do for years?

We haven't heard anything about legion in months even though we have been begging for more information or just a sign that the game is alive/greenlit and now some people watching a random movie are gonna see new footage before we do? Bad taste.
I mean where is the problem? If you have footage that you are willing to show a ton of people in the theatres why not show it to us, your loyal player base?
I see what you mean. I would feel bummed out too. But let's be realistic here. How many of those people in theaters would even recognize Project Legion in a 5-10-second scene in a 2-hour film? Despite all of the media attention given to Project Legion some time ago, the vast majority of the public at large don't even know Legion exists at all. I still run into people in real life and online who never even heard of Dust let alone Legion. I bet the vast majority of the audience didn't even realize they were the first to see a glimpse of Project Legion. Kind of like that one scene from the movie Demolition Man where Sylvester Stallone's character heard from this female character that there is an Arnold Schwarzenegger Presidential Library in San Angeles. It was a funny scene and no one took it seriously because it was funny. Fast forward from that and eventually Arnold (in real life) became the Governor of California (out of office by now obviously). It's going to be the same **** all over again with John Wick and that one scene of Project Legion when everyone looks back at this movie and think "holy crap, I never knew".

From what I understand, usually the actors are suppose to be "acting" as if they're playing.
