CCP would you finally put in a proper gunship alike air vehicle and not those rick roll alike ADS? It needs to be big, tanky and slow moving with higher firepower then a damn dropship. Dunno maybe give it large turres or new kind of turrets for it.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

Large turrets are a hell no and no one would use them anyways because why should you share your aircraft with your team when its easier to complain about not seeing AV, and then pilots would be complaining that the new aircraft is to slow moving and an open target to swarms and blah blah blah. |

Why aren't their medium turrets yet?
Why don't we have sentry turrets?

Suggest this in the Project Legion forum. It can be ignored there just as well. 
Large turrets? Not only no but No F-ing Way. If they added some monstrous recoil so the dropship would rebound across that map then I would be fine with it. Because it would be hilarious on Youtube.
You need to think in terms of what the game has, not something that will take four developers four months to do. Which is why I suggested Legion's forum, you can actually ignore my snarky joke.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

That thing should have 6 turrets, 3 on each side, and carry 9 people.
Or 4 turrets, 2 on each side, and carry 7 people.
40 kills with the most basic, cheapest possible dual-wielding standard Bolt Pistol fit...

Unless you are trying to present a form of air battles for dust maybe but won't work. The maps are too small, ceiling is too short, and the need for more small turret forms for vehicles. Also, what would be the power of an air-to-ground attack role if assault dropships are already having problems and they are essentially the gunships?
Although, im pretty sure Rattati didn't want the assault dropships to be gunships. Just a form of close air support when transporting troops. Although arguably a standard dropship can do the same if not better....but you actually need a team and competent gunners to do so.
Im kinda of iffy on introducing a role where a single player can have dominance over an entire team.
