just thinking, in the Dev blog it was mentioned that a full devblog detailing all the changes in 1.9 would drop before the end of October and normaly the update rolls out shortly after. now my reasoning for the 4th Nov is because Tranquility will be down already for the next EVE patch so it would make sense to also drop 1.9 while the servers are down.

Correct me if I'm wrong but most patches are released Wednesday. I prefer to wait but I'm SOO DESPERATE for 1.9 Patch notes!!!

The new EVE Online patch drops November 4th, so 1.9 definitely will not be on that date. They don't like to do two unrelated things as once, because if something goes wrong they will not know which thing caused it.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

They said once that they dont release 2 patchs on the same server at the same time to avoid unpredictable problems.

It has been months with no client update so yep. It feels like Christmas :D

I personally expect it more near the Rhea release in mid December, I'd wager +/- a week of Rhea.
So somewhere between December 8th and the 22nd for those of you playing along at home.

Yup it's on a Wednesday since all the hot fixes were released on that specific day too.

It has been so long since an actual patch that I look forward to the post patch release forum blow up.
Its been too long, and those are always enjoyable. Hotfix blowups just aren't the same.

Nope. If you read the Dev Blog, you would see that it says more information will come at the end of the month. ;) I think it'll get released around Thanksgiving.
