How about we remove all the bonuses from scouts and only activate them when the specific module is equipped? That way they ll need to fit the specific module to activate the bonus. (No room for HP ) cal will need to equip range amps & damps. gal damps & presicion. amarr damps. mini speed (not sure). Or we could give the assaults and sentinels a cpu / pg bonus to hp modules. And repairer bonus (armor repairer. shield recharger....) the logis. This way the scouts can still dominate (but with low hp ) PERFECT BALANCE. What do u think? |

Or, they could just add a fitting penalty to armor & shield modules for scout frames. Similar to the stacking penalty, but increases the modules PG/CPU for each additional module. Seems much simpler & effective in reducing eHP, without effecting other aspects of the suit. |

What you're suggesting would hurt all playstyles. Having to use already limited slot layouts for 'additional' modules just to activate a bonus only on scouts, is absurd(no offense). You would essentially nerf scouts who currently don't use any HP modules(like me), just to nerf light assaults? Keeping in mind that they still could stack HP mods if they wanted too, under your method. |

I like the idea of speed penalties for armor modules scaling up with class. If the speed penalty for a heavy suit fitting a given plate is, say, 3% the same plate could scale up to 6% on a medium suit and 9% on a light suit. Encourages role appropriate tanking without affecting sidearm/light weapon slots. Scouts need to make a tradeoff somewhere, as of now anything an assault can do, a scout can do better.

I was just thinking the same thing. or a severely increased speed penalty on each additional module, instead of a flat penalty. |

That could work, I just like the idea of scouts having to give up more to HP tank, as it is a departure from their intended role. Sentinels have the same difficulty speed tanking or Ewar tanking. Assaults are sort of in limbo right now, they need something. Maybe an Ewar buff.

So MinScouts are gonna have to fit codebreakers instead of damps, kincats or shield regs to activate the hacking bonus huh? You serious bruh? Minjas are used to making sacrifices but damn. This cant be life.

You haven't played as a scout before, have you...
I used the bolt pistol before it was (OP) cool.
