I don't know. I don't remember all the particulars, but it sounded pretty good to me.

Way back when i was a poor and ran BPO's it was always a treat to pull out a proto suit every now and then. But no i run proto 24/7 almost as if they are BPO's and the excitement wears off because it's always the same suit.

plus economic wise, i always wanted to build and produce dropsuits, weapons and such in Dust. BPO's take away from feeling a lose and give more of a feel of a lobby shooter. that is why i was always against the idea of BPO's.

It would be like playing EVE without losing your ship.

And sorry for not giving any answer for quite a while, but as you can see in my other thread, Market has been my focus for the past couple of months (and a lot of secret other stuff of course!).

Basically, a lot of good points were made during this discussion and I had some long chats regarding the Progression System. I looked at all the different proposal, our vision for what the Progression for Legion should be evolved a lot since Fanfest.

So a lot of changes will be made from the presentation I made. Even though we want to change the way Progression was in DUST, we still want to keep some important mechanics you guys love.

So for now, I will close this Thread and get back to you as soon as we have the Progression 2.0 Design.

Thanks a lot for all your Feedback, it helps us a lot making the right choice for our game.

There you go. So don't hold your breath expecting suits in Legion to be all BPOs. That might (emphasis on the word "might") be changed.

yeah its a terrible idea. when i bought a drake and myrmidon on eve they werent bpos.
if i lost them the were lost for good.

it makes you think about your actions before you risk losing an expensive suit. how the game should play

also legion might not even happen. they said themselves itd be based on community reaction and the reaction was very very negative.

Not really if you look at the Eve Online forums. When news of Legion came out, the Eve forums erupted with people saying "finally, CCP is ditching the console kiddies and moving Dust to the PC master race."

Keep in mind that Eve is their primary money maker.
