Killing cal/min starter fits in one shot... and that headshot bonus is very lethal for heavies too. 40 kills with the most basic, cheapest possible dual-wielding standard Bolt Pistol fit...

It's best to think of it like this, would I use it in a PC match? Hell no, its a huge liability and the detection is still terrible on it. The Ion Pistol by itself is pretty on point now besides the abysmal range but that charge shot still has a lot to be desired. Also I want my full auto Ion Pistol Variant. CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

While I would not use the charge shot in PC I riot only use it for one shotting rather weak suits I have snuck up on (ie snipers). Additionally, since the overheat lock is much shorter now I don't even mind if it isn't a one shot kill since is quite ammo efficient. Downing that much damage in a single hit scares people which is fun and makes finishing them off much easier. Now with more evil.

It's clunky and incredibly hard to use on a weapon with only nominal utility to begin with. Autoseize is not a fun mechanic and kills you if your target has an IQ higher than room temperature. EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

The chargeshot feels like a need at times when the mechanics that allow the charge shot actually mess with the weapon, for example the weapon randomly seizing, charging at the end of the clip instead of reloading, seizing at random intervals between 8 and 12 shots, etc. Unfortunately removing it like I previously suggested would lower the DPS because of how the charge mechanic increases damage. supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

That said, try using the charged shot on a sniper. Works wonders. EDIT: Charged shots (Ion/Scrambler) need their bigger shots, again. Remember when they actually looked different than a regular shot?
