A typical passive buffer fit works too. Amarr Assault. Mr. Fancy Pants not only looks the part but also packs a punch if you use laser weapons. Everyone should try this at advanced. Caldari Assault is, in my opinion, the shield suit of choice. Two regulators, lots of shield extenders, a recharger and a railrifle gets you a nice suit that works well if you like to use your positioning skills. I'm just not a fan of the Minmatar Assault. If I wanted to run quickly in a low-hp suit I'd use a Scout.

Fit in basic armor plate and then the rest with armor repairs and you have a godly fit and would not depend on a logi for reps. But for the love of Freedom do not armor tank it. That is not how you play Gallente! Been here since Mordus Private Trials Closed Beta Vet under 30 million SP ;-;

It's because it's the scrub fit, and also because many, I repeat many, underestimate the Gal Assault. A speed comparable to the Min Assault, plus strong reps and decent hP pool gets me through a lot. Their rifle is also one of the most even-hitting on both shield and armor. Give the Magsex some love.

Their rifle is also one of the most even-hitting on both shield and armor. I'm starting to use 1 MLT Plate BPO with 2 MLT Rep BPOs on my Quafe G-I and doing fabulously. Only 1 point in Gallente Assault.

Cal is more precision, good spot to make your nest, picking off people. They are good for sniping if your into sniping im into sniping but i use a gal scout spot with damps and EWAR and a cloak i should use cal assault. Or both. Min is a scout with more slots and a bigger hitbox and less EWAR, fun as hell. Amarr is the bricked out precision person the evil twin [pending on how you view it] lots of tank, slightly less gank, evil twin of cal assault. Get them all. Can achieve highest armour reps(by 2) Can be used as a(bad) scout. Works great with Ion pistol/Plasma rifles/shotgun. Surprisingly good at dual tanking(though not as good as Caldari) At STD I use a plate(basic or enhanced) 1 reps(enhanced or complex) and a damp(MLT or basic) and a DMG mod/extender. it works pretty well. People will have a hard time seeing you and it just works pretty well. You can also swap the damp for a amp and use q precision mod if you like. You will only get 22 ish meter range and will only be able to scan light frame scouts/slightly dampen mediums but it's not bad. "I do agree with you there though. shudders" -Arkena Wyrnspire
