its funny because part of the reason they dont want to give us a fullfledged armor painter is to avoid trolls in obnoxious brightly lit suits like clowns. yet they go and have bpos like this.
especially considering the troll aspect could be removed by limited suits to a muted-neutral-dark palette and maybe only allowing 1 bright accent color per suit. so you could do black gray and maybe a bright orange accent or bright red.
but absolutely no going and doing neon green, bright red, and hotpink.
i just fixed another problem ccp, take notes.

It just wasn't a priority and took too much effort to make.

i recall reading it once in an article/thread.
just like how you cant fly around in a pink dildoesque thorax in eve.
it said if they ever had customization it would have dark colors and neutrals and such to stop people from doing that.
