DUST Search - 1.9 NPC "market" means we need ISK sinks

Forgive me parring down your post to these two ideas, but I like them both a lot. Earlier in this thread, Cat Merc proposed a tier above proto. Let's call it Sleeper gear. Slightly improved performance, slightly higher fitting requirements, noticeably more expensive (x5 - x10 as much as proto gear). What are your opinions on such a feature?

Re-impliment the closed beta corp battles. For those of you who forgot or were not there, they were wager matches. Your corp put up an ISK wager amount and any corp willing to bet that amount of money that they will win accepts your challenge. 2. Allow players to bid money on their team in pub matches before queing for a match. If you win you get your money back plus you gain a percentage of your bid based on the enemy team's end scores, if you loose your ISK is added to the enemy team's rewards pool. Don't really have any particulars for the calculation if you win, speculate and pontificate among yourselves on that one. This was just a random idea I thought up before hitting the post button. But you HAVE to bid before entering matchmaking, it's gambling not an ISK farm. If you think your squad is good enough to weather whatever is thrown at your team, you can bid on it. If not, don't bid. Also, possibly increase % chance of good gear dropping at the end of match based on the amount you bid. Have fun Dust Bunnies. I have nothing against it, it is a solid idea. However getting enough support to push it through will be an issue as there is already an insane amount of protostomping QQ as it is. Which is why I opted to go with increasing current costs. It comes with it's own issues, like gear stockpiles and low SP players complaining further about how hard it is to use what they unlocked, but it seemed more practical sinceit requires nothing else be added to the game, thus making it more likely.
