The Amarr logi uplink bonuses are not being applied to uplinks. When I lay uplinks with my Amarr logi and commit suicide and try to spawn out of them, the spawn time tooltip indicates the base spawn time for the uplink, not the calculated spawn time with the Amarr logi bonus applied.
My friend has also confirmed this behavior.

I don't know if this is a troll but I will bite.
For some reason CCP thought it would be a good idea if the bonuses only applied to uplinks you dropped while you are still alive and still in your Amarr Logistics.
Hence you can never receive the benefit of your own speedy uplinks. A fate not shared by any of the other logistics as far as I am aware.
They say the reason is because, what would stop you dropping them and then switching out to another suit. I say that means the suit isn't offering enough to keep the player in it, among other things.

Agreed. CCP, your logic sucks. Remove the mortality constraint on the uplinks. The bonus should apply as long as I deployed the uplinks with the Amarr logi suit, regardless of whether I change suits, die, or any other fate of the clone that deployed them.
Thanks for clearing that up Commander Bolt.

This makes me want to squad with my own alt, deploy the uplinks with my main, and then leave the amarr logi running in circles back at the groundspawn, so that I can benefit from the uplink bonus, while I go and fight the rest of the match with my alt.
This rule is BOGUS, CCP.

This bug/feature/bug was created to keep every logi from spawning as an Amarr logi to drop uplinks then swapping to another logistics suit... and that behavior isn't to be encouraged. However, you are correct, there needs to be more reason to stay in the Amarr logi dropsuit. Sadly, the Amarr only have one piece of equipment: the uplink.
Here's hoping in Legion CCP will have more than one piece of equipment for each race.
My advice to you, playa...

There's nothing wrong with swapping out suits once they have served their purpose. There are many functional jurisdictions in battle that a soldier can fulfill.
The primary reason for my complaint is that in the dropsuit bonus text, it says nothing about the bonus only being applied if the clone is alive and still wearing the same suit. If it had stated that fact, there's no way I would have spent SP speccing into that skillset, since the bonus is undesirable to me. Jeez CCP, bait and switch?
