I sent a telegram to CCP's office with #GreenLightLegion. Should be there by the 13th of next month.

I like the idea of Legion on PC getting greenlit. Especially if we can get PvE and player market. Plus, I love the idea of console gamers getting Legion too.

And I'm also happy for you, but console players aren't getting legion unless it's successful on PC - WHICH ISN'T HAPPENING.

Legion will have the same problem PS2 does - it'll be the battle of computer specs - and seeing how CCP develop games no one is going to have patience for that **** when PS2 and other FPS are F2P on the very same platform that are far more developed.

Any chance you've got a link with someone from CCP saying Legion development has been canceled? Silence is not a confirmation that it has been delayed/canceled, by the way.

Just and fyi, CCP has a history of constant, quality iteration of a game on PC already (Eve Online). Even if Legion doesn't launch in an 11/10, metacritic 100%, AAAA+ state CCP will polish it just like it has done Eve Online for that last 10 years. PC is their "home field". They know dat ****.

The rest of your spiel can be simply answered with: the PC audience is gi-*******-gantic compared to console. Something like 900,000 PC vs. Nintendo's Wii, MicrosoftGÇÖs Xbox 360, and Sony's PlayStation 3: About 262,000... Combined. PC is also growing at a faster rate than consoles.

PCs have increased six times as much as consoles have.

I get that you don't like the idea of Legion for PC. I get that you feel betrayed by CCP. You have a right to be, by the way. What CCP did at fanfest was a customer relations nightmare. There are thousands of ways they could have done that announcement better.

So stop spending money on Dust 514. That's the most effective way of showing CCP you are disappointed with them. Leave a bad review on some website. Here's what I get - that CCP has a trend, and you want them to continue it. You don't want them to improve, you want them to keep doing what they're doing.

I call that fanboying. You may say otherwise because once in a while you disagree with them, but in the end w/e they do you will buy into regardless of how bad it is.

I want Legion greenlit for PC. I then want it developed and to play it. Where in all of my posts did I say I wanted it to be sub-par? If Legion gets launched and it's a turd, then I won't pay for it and I won't play it. Simple.

And I guess where our opinions differ greatly is that I think Legion on PC will do fine. Hell, if CCP puts it on Steam like they did with Eve Online it will probably be a very successful game financially.

And you're right, let's just agree to disagree, you're not willing to look at the other titles they'll be competing with or CCP's track record to make an educated guess, you just want it to succeed just because.

I see the other titles competing with Legion. Team Fortress 2, Tribes Ascend, and Planetside 2. Those are just the free FPS games I can name off the top of my head. Plus, we don't know what will come out between now and when Legion launches.

I also see CCP's flaws. They are slow to react to their games' issues (see: PC printing ISK for months), their development speeds clock in just shy of death on a crutch, and they have absolutely no idea how to break sensitive news to players (see: fanfest 2014). So I'm not some starry eyed twit

To be clear, as long as we are clarifying my position on things, I said I think Legion will do well. I didn't say I hope but continue to shove words in my mouth to better serve your argument I'm basing my opinions on the fact that PC games generate quite a bit of revenue and that CCP is much more familiar with PC development than it ever was with PS3.

and as far as CCP goes with experienced PC development - yea... they can't even add paint jobs to EvE without it being too complicated. Not that I blame that - there ships must have so many dimensions. lol

I am proposing that the 13th of every month be the day that we #GreenLightLegion to @HilmarVeigar , @CCP_Rouge, and @CCP_Logibro. I hear you asking, "Ripley, why the 13th?"... That's not important. What is important is that we communicate to CCP that Legion is something we still want.

The only way to ever see Legion on the PS4 is if CCP has a successful launch of Legion on the PC first.
