I don't think comments like that are warranted Jacques. If you think dust is dead why would you devote your time to trolling on its forums. I for one support BAss in his endeavors. I would love to see a channel where those of us that actively play and RP in dust could convene. |

It seems forum warrioring is an entirely foreign concept to you, I suggest you read into that before you make these kind of claims.
As for the suggestion itself, I would be down for anything that could promote RP within the DUST community. But, just due to the technical limitations of the DUST chat interface itself, I don't really think this as a good idea. I've been crying to improve it for ages specifically for the reason that roleplayers would have an easier time utilizing it to its fullest extent, but right now its just horrible and not worth doing any serious RP in. And forgive me for my cynicism, but I have a feeling that setting up any new RP channels would just end up having maybe five people at best inhabiting it, and it will be promptly forgotten after a few month period after receiving little to no activity at all. Believe me, I've tried similar stuff myself and it got nowhere real fast.
If anyone wants to even try RPing within DUST, I recommend you enter the channel: "The Summit" and its consecutive OOC channel "OOC". It's where most EVE roleplayers gather to talk about various stuff. Read this post to understand how it works.

Just as a note:
"Imperial Congregation" is an IC channel for amarrian loyalists. It's main counterpart is "Imperial OOC", both whhich are active and friendly channels for both DUST and EVE players ( that are aligned to the Empire ).

I had enjoyed my time in imperial congregation and imperial ooc until recently when i was made aware that none Amarrian dusters were not seen as welcome there. they were not rude, but did politely ask me and other none Amarr accosiates to leave the channel. i bear no resentment to them as it is their channel to do with as they see fit, but if the question is where are caldari RPs welcome and where is their channel i don't think imperial congregation and imperial ooc want themselves seen as such a place. good suggestion thow Templar Twelve. if they have redefined their qualifications for the channel i would gladly rejoin. |
