I agree with you and there were two other topics mentioning the boltpistol.
It is not normal that I am able to kill assaults and scouts from mid range with 1-3 shots with the militia version, and that with a sidearm. There were so many people crying about the Scrambler Pistol. It even was not neccessary to nerf it. Lots of people saying that the boltpistol is a weapon you need to beskilled for to use. That is bullshit.
It is not too hard to kill others with the boltpistol if you are cautious and watching your enemy.

i dotn think they are that OP.. its just the fact that with the DDM sidearm event many people are rocking the weapon with the most damage per shot to get the most kills.. im sure after the DDM event its use will dwindle off and people will go back to the TY-something Scrambler pistol as overall its better.. larger clip faster RPM even if its less damage per shot you get more shots and iirc a better HS multiplier

I haven't played with it that much but the problem seems to be that it is so good at every range. Long distance is fine, it can be a sniping pistol but when hipfiring it seems you only have to fire in the general direction and it hits, that should be its weakness but it is not.

Sadly i must agree, their capability of power, range and RoF is quite OP

I turned my sound off and seamed to get killed by them. With sound on I don't get killed any more then other side arms. I'm a shield user I must not see the problem.
Over 50 Million SP and almost full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/4
