The HAV + HMG Combo seems to inspire much rage and frustration.
Sorry JLAVs - you don't really work on me. What other tankers generally forget is that the LAV is tire based landcraft, while the Tank is tracks.
Tracks can walk over anything, while tires have limitations. Stick to rough terrain, you'll move just as well and the JLAV will be rendered useless in getting close enough to deal with you. A simple bump can send them flying around. And there's areas, large ones, where tanks can hide in such areas.
Seems by doing this a few matches in a row some unlucky fellows got to be there each time and finally cracked after his JLAV attempts failed, and he was working with 2 other JLAVers to get me. AV being completely ******* USELESS. 2 proto forges cannot keep me pinned down long enough to take me out with my shield booster and hardeners laughing them off. And swarms? LOL.

Delta should come with a SP or infantry SP refund so that a campaign for one is not needed .

Matchamaking is the same, it is team balancing that is the difference.
Newberries and vets are still getting thrown together, now they just use Mu to split up the players to make the teams as even as possible.
Nothing has changed regarding how players are selected for a game.

That alone shows how obviously broken it is. you have not played in a long time so it probably needs some time to update your MU. but be careful when your MU gets to high it will put you on the team with 15 horrible players and expect you to carry them. plus most corps don't play to many pubs anymore because of all the clueless people running around snipping now.

Look at this Rattati post for an explanation of the Mu matchmaking system.
Basically the formula is NewMu=OldMu+(player second in battle/battle duration)*(win/loss)
This score is then used to calculate who you are matched against. A pool of waiting players is created for a given game then solo players with the highest scores are placed onto opposite teams followed by squads (who's mu is equal to the sum of its members) followed by low scoring individuals. The total Mu scores of each team will be as close to each other as possible to create balanced matches.
Now with more evil.
