King Bolly Eternal Beings Dark Taboo 17	Posted - 2014.10.09 12:11:00 - [1] - Quote I have ads lvl 5 and gal ads lvl 5. this nerf to the rate of fire was not balanced by a damage increase. we now overheat faster and frankly I have millions of sp poured into the equal of what should be gal lvl 2. this is the worst nerf ive experienced. we should have a respec this is really an outrage. if this was the end result when I skilled into this, I would never be dumb enough to skill past lvl 1. its a shame that you (ccp) felt this was a good idea. I feel ripped off. please fix this somehow.

General Tso's Alliance 2267	Posted - 2014.10.09 12:38:00 - [4] - Quote CCP changed the RoF because it was deemed to powerful. 50% damage increase to an already powerful weapon (see incubus missiles) was an u heard of progression in damage application, and along with skill stacking made ADSs "OP." Rattati has said (or at least implied) that they're open to new ideas to ADS skill bonuses or RoF changes. Just provide numbers to back up your claims (apparently anti-tanking is an area they want to improve for ADSs). There's a stickied post in F/R about this and there are a ton of people discussing. Dust was real! I was there! Dear diary, Rattati senpai noticed me today~

Frankly at the moment they should be fulfilling a niche vehicle role much like the Mass Driver does for the infantry, not swooping around the battlefield killing everything because they can....Maybe if they increased the ROF/less overheat for the blaster turrets and rail guns, increase the splash radius for the rockets while tuning down the damage across all of them it might be fulfilling more of a fire support role rather than outright killing people...much like the MD...Just a thought. You know you have at least thought about cow tipping. They know, and they're out to settle the score.

But support means that they have to actually do something with a group of people :'(

I actually like this. Increase splash radius per level for missiles on Python Increase RoF on Incubus for Blasters and Railgun. What if the Food chain went like: Incubus eats HAVs and Pythons Pythons eat infantry if it can (suppressive fire) Infantry eats Incubus as it already does Python keeps survivability against infantry ? I have ADS pilots but having recently gotten level 3 Swarms I can agree that at best now ADS is a nuisance and I can now run off near every vehicle in the game. The State will always survive.
