Tried using it and swapped it out immediately for a normal SMG and a MagSec.
Lower dmg was a good idea, but that 68 round mag is just awful. The small range and RoF increase just aren't worth it.

A sidearm is a finisher not a primary. The RoF makes sure that no one escapes. And i use the assault SMG on my fits & it does its job.

I have not tested it yet. However, reducing clip size while increasing rate of fire would have a cumulative effect.
I agree with the DPS change, but I think that the Damage per Clip should be closer to the normal SMG. (It needs a larger clip.) With the current stats an Assault HMG would be hard pressed to kill my untanked Amarr Sentinel without reloading.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Been doing a fine job for me, though I do have Minmatar Assault to Lv5. It really does chew through the ammo though, far too fast to justify so many nerfs, even if they were small.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

I feel like the actual stats of the weapon are fine.
It just needs to have its CPU and PG normalized with the other SMGs. |

They need to change the damage profile of projectile weapons to -5 +5 I don't get why small arms fire is even effective against armor it doesn't make sense and with the rate of fire they have makes them much to strong.

After seeing a standard HMG being out DPS'd by a stationary standard SMG scout... no, not really.

Considering the HMG does nearly 2x more DPS than an SMG and works at a longer range, that heavy must terrible. |

My SMG is a primary and my back up is the Flaylock. I win Most if not all Gun fights 
MAG Raven vet 7 times. Favorite weapon F90 and Highest Kills 78 and 23 deaths.
