Why is there no way to switch the L1/R1 and L2/R2 buttons? Almost every shooter can do this nowadays, and for good reason.
For that matter, why can't we make completely custom layouts where the player can assign every button? That'd be great. |

If I want to reload with L3, aim with the select button and shoot with the up button, I should be able to goddamnit!
Fully fluid control schemes need to be in echo...echo....echo.....echo...... |

I want to murder the "view scoreboard" key on the keyboard (Tab) so much, you have no idea.
Adjustable control schemes would be nice, but it's a TON of UI. And it's definitely not a hotfixable thing.

Is a simple trigger/shoulder switch possible with a hotfix? That's all I really want, and I'm sure a large amount of people would appreciate it. |

As far as I'm aware, anything that adds a button, switch, gadget, widget, or other 'thing' on your screen is probably a client patch.

Even if they could switch it, they wouldn't be able to add the option to keep it the old way, which would **** a lot of people off. Better just to leave it as is.
I do agree however, in this day of age, every game should have fully customizable control schemes.

would love to be able to switch the tank controls to be like the lav control.
buttons for forward/reverse, not analog stick forward/reverse

Only possible in a client patch.
Hotfixes fix things that are already in place. It can't add new functionality.

Alright. That's unfortunate.
Since this isn't hotfixable, can I request that the CPM bring this up when possible? So that it might make it into the game whenever we get a client update? I'm sure that everyone can agree that this would do nothing but add quality to the game. |

They should just remove KB/M support, tbh.
It will never be balanced with controllers.
It really has no place on a console exclusive game, and it goes against the culture of console gaming. Hardware advantages/disadvantages just don't belong on consoles, because one of the main reasons people exclusively play consoles is to stay away from the hardware disparity issues that are on PCs.
I know I don't like it when someone beats me just because they have a more powerful PC, its why I don't FPS on PC. It is essentially p2w.
By what I hear, the KB/M support isn't even that great either.
They'll get their KB/M in their beloved Legion someday, anyway. Let console games be console games, and PC games be PC games. |

The old CCP Dust guys promised this and new ones probably can't do it because it would require a client side patch, use up little resources they have, and take up a lot of time.
