Weapon sights...
Would it be possible to add the ability to change sites? For example, the standard assault rifle is iron sights. Maybe adding something like the red dot sight or ACOG sight? Just to give it a bit of a change.
Combat tiers...
We all started off in the Academy. Some of us did well, others did not. Now I know I am by far not the best player in the world. My main character has around 9 million go.. I don't think that with nine million skill points, I should be going up against somebody who just got out of the Academy. So I have an idea.
What if players where matched based on skill points?
T1 - 0sp - 1,000,000sp
T2 - 1,000,001sp - 2,500,000sp
T3 - 2,500,000sp - 5,000,000sp
T4 - 5,000,001sp - 10,000,000sp
T5 - 10,000,000+sp
Squads could be based on the highest level character in the squad.
It's just an idea and I would like to know everybody else's opinion on this. |

For now at least, CCP isn't doing any more client side updates (may or may not change in the future)
These are the ones where you'd have to update the game to receive.
Completely new mechanics, like you've proposed, would require one of those.
For the moment we're restricted to server side updates. "hotfixes"
