Aim Assist lining up a headshot along with giving you Bullet Magnetism on the other hand, is ridiculous.
Remove the BP's AA feature and watch as people who appeared to have the skills of a Cowboy from the Old West turn into a bunch of flounders who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

I find it quite hard to kill someone with it, unless hes still, or i get lucky, whicb is why im running nk+bp fit, get in close, and spam nks, jump around and hope he doesnt kill me, if he gets away, then i empty my bp clip, of which hopefully one connects |

I did well with it pre patch. 16/2 with dual BPs and only 1 point invested.
I do so wish to try them today.

I've played RDR a lot.
The gun is also OP now, proto BP do more damage than a Ishukone SR, i've used it since it came out, but with the current buff CCP has jumped a little to far.

When they nerf it I hope they go back to the original stats. I did just fine with it in Charlie. They can keep the ammo count to 4 that okay.

From what i know, everytime if they start with damage it makes stuff unbalanced like hell. But whaterever i dont have problem with it, i dont use that fell nerf damage if you want

250 damage per shot is kind of over the top, though. Make it 180 damage, and make it a 5 shot. That's what I'd like. |

Yep, I finally did a test to see just how bad this is. I put on a heavy suit and as. I come out from behind a container to shoot and then move back the animation and sound of fire as is the damage registration continue after I am behind cover. I just had a dropship shot down as it was being delivered and was already dropped and behind the building.
I used to think I was a bad player, but now I know. It is a delay that makes using a scout suit for me very difficult. I hate that because I like using the scout suit, but I am so tired of getting shot down before I even know I'm being shot at that I started using a medium suit to get some buffer between when I am being shot at and when it registers.

Its damage needs toning down regardless. Considering AA, its hideously OP. I ran without AA and still got over 40 kills with Dual-Bolt Pistols, 3 shotting Heavies with a Kaalakiota BP.
Sick of scouts one-shotting me to the head though.

I only have lvl 1 bolt pistol. I don't really like it. That charge delay annoys me and is the same reason I am not a RR fan.
However, tons of people are complaining about the BP which I find strange because I haven't really been killed by one very much. Maybe it's because I Breach SCP them in the face before they shot me. Not sure.

I think the Bolt Pistol is a little bit OP. At the beggining I was being killed left and right with this thing so, for this event I gave it a go. At first I didn't like it at all. I hated it so much I changed my gun in battle. I tried the ION pistol and I liked that one even less. So, I decided to give the BP another go but, this time I was more methodical in my attack/approach. Once you position yourself and take aim the gun is super powerful. Most scouts will go down in 1 shot. Most assault suits go down in two except one or two guys here and there. They may survive the 1st attack but, I can hide and reload and they won't survive the second attack.
Here is the thing. The bolt pistol is super powerful from day one. I'm using the militia and I'm taking out expensive suits with better weapons. Look at it this way, I run either a gallente logi or a caldari scout. My scout fit cost about 40k isk where as my logi fit in in the 50k+ isk. For this event I'm using a caladari basic suit. The way I have it set up it cost about 20k isk. If I wanted to I could make it even cheaper. With that I can take out a 50k isk suit no problems This is a militia sidearm and it can destroy people bettter than other weapons that you have to spend a lot of isk and skill points to use. It is literally a long range shotgun. Yes, even the basic shotgun is super powerful but at least the shot gun requires you to get in super close and it also requires that you skill up your suit and modules so that you are not detected and therefore able to close the distance. There is no requirement to be able to be effective with the bolt pistol at all.
Don't get me wrong. I'm loving this gun but, it does makes me question why bother using any other suit or setup. I can be good with it with a low level cheap suit. Why would I want to risk loosing 50k+ a suit when even a militia suit out of the academy equipped only with this gun can destroy you? |

The breach scp is a beast. It is my favorite sidearm now.

So 500+ damage from a sidearm in 2 shots isn't OP? It does 1 less damage that a sniper rifle and did I mention the fact its a SIDEARM? |

I was pretty amazed how quickly suits were dying when I lined up headshots at medium range with it. It's almost a sniper used right.

I think that the BP should be close to the breach ScP: not so powerful in a body shot but amazing in headshots. Right now, headshots on the BP are amazing, but not needed at all! I think that CCP should decrease its alpha from 250 to 210 (proto lvl), reduce its RoF a little (like 15-20 rpm less) and increase it's headshots % modifier.
This way it'll still be very efficient in HS (maybe more), but not so devastating in bodyshots. It'll also be balanced with the breach ScP as it'll deal much more damage per bullet, even more in the head, but with a smaller clip size and RoF.
What do you think about it?
