So what do you think? If there was a full 6 man sqaud of FA, their PC "A team", how many solos to hold or take an objective from them???
6FA=x A players 6FA=x B players 6FA=x C players
How many 3 man squads of C players could they take?
*** only using FA as an example but in this case any top PC corp would do.

There can be 32 solos, if they are not coordinating in some way and countering the defense or attack style that is being thrown at them it is a lost battle. The same applies to any squad of 6 high SP players (meaning they are invested properly enough to have atleast 2 roles close to full proto)

Solo players will get crushed all day long against an A-team organised squad playing seriously. I'm going to classify A-grade players as solid competitors in proto gear, B-grade as decent people in whatever, and C-grade as terrible randoms:
6 man A-grade organised squad = 8-10 A players 6 man A-grade organised squad = 12 B players 6 man A-grade organised squad = All the C players. We feed on your +50s.
An organised squad will simply wipe the floor with unorganised opposition if they're working together effectively and use a team-based strategy.
The forums have ruined me.

So how do you balance this when match making? What if you don't have enough A or B players? And if you do what's the odds they will all go after the A sqaud rather than hunting the C players for easy kills?
Should said sqaud be on hold for proper competition??? Thinking 2 or 3 cycles/32 man pools to attempt balance???

Instead of crying all the time they should find better squads. All matches would be better if people did that.

Depending on the point, it would likely take all 16 solo players to take the point from 6. Even high-mu solo players likely got that way by NOT attacking well defended points, but rather farming the edges.
I think the better solution would be to make the high-mu squad wait for another similarly ranked squad. |

The bottom line of the issue isn't FA's problem. The problem is the payout in this game?! What keeps players from wanting to "go proto", and take FA on in pubs?
Let's say, oh I don't know, vertex high performance says "F*** it" and goes proto against them. They'll be the only d**n ones, while the other 10 have no idea vertex "turnt up" to hold Bravo and Alpha?! While a third of their team resorts to sniping in militia gear, and a third goes the opposite direction gear wise and grabs starter suits. Ole vertex will be at the top of the leader boards of a loss.... they will lose the match, and a F*** ton of isk for nothing?!
On the opposite side of the match the blues will see that FA is on their team, and feel confident enough to pull out that proto suit they never wear to help FA troll noobs?!
If isk payout was better, or suits cheaper, vertex could turn on the burners risk free, and blues would turn it on as well because they could stand to lose 5 suits.
Currently most players check the leader boards, and count their losses?! Waste suits and isk on a loss, or run militia and gain that measly 200k isk?!

Oh, i died twice so now i will run cheap fits and patrol the perimeter...
or if your trying to push the objective and after dieing like five times realize your the only one or one of three trying then why keep throwing money at a lost cause???
